For over 20 years, he served as Executive Director of the United Shippers Alliance, a nonprofit shipper association based in Lewis Center, Ohio. His executive leadership in this role has been instrumental in shaping global transportation practices while maintaining a commitment to service and integrity.
Gene is a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served from April 1967 to April 1969 with the 8th Infantry Division Headquarters in Bad Kreuznach, Germany. His military experience instilled a lifelong sense of discipline, honor, and service—values that continue to guide his life and leadership today.
He holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from Indiana University and a B.S. degree in Transportation from the University of Cincinnati, blending strong academic foundations with decades of executive expertise.
Faith and community are central to Gene’s life. He serves on the Elite Leader Team (Board) at Adventure Church in Delaware, Ohio, where he helps lead with wisdom and a servant’s heart.
Beyond his professional and ministry roles, Gene treasures his family. He has been married to his wife, Carol, for 60 years. Together they have a daughter, Angela Graves Lee, and are proud grandparents to Jackson Tower Lee and Jenna Caroline Lee.

Randy J. Pacheco is a seasoned leader in both military service and ministry, offering decades of wisdom, spiritual guidance, and Christ-centered mentorship to the Board of Directors. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Randy is a U.S. Navy veteran who honorably served his country for 20 years. His time in the military instilled in him a lifelong commitment to discipline, servant leadership, and the care of others.
In 1992, Randy surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, beginning a transformative journey of faith and ministry. He was ordained a Deacon in 2000, a Minister in 2003, and an Elder in 2008. He went on to serve as the Chief Adjutant of the United Holy Church, Inc., where he led national logistics and trained emerging church leaders in service, order, and spiritual accountability.
Randy’s calling centers around making disciples who walk intimately with Christ. As a spiritual advisor, he is deeply committed to helping individuals heal, grow, and thrive in their faith journeys. He believes that true restoration begins at the cross and that no one—especially veterans and the brokenhearted—should walk alone in their pain.
Randy is the devoted husband of Gina M. Pacheco, the proud father of two children, and the joyful grandfather of two grandchildren. His life reflects a powerful combination of military service, spiritual leadership, and compassionate ministry—making him a vital guide and shepherd within the mission of faith, healing, and brotherhood.

Ron Garrett is a seasoned professional and devoted servant leader who brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and integrity to the Board of Directors. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Ron served at the Regional Finance Center in Norfolk, Virginia, where he managed payroll records and developed a strong foundation in operational leadership and accountability.
After his military service, Ron built a successful career in sales and sales management, eventually running his own business for 18 years. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Towson State College and brings with him decades of experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial management—skills that help strengthen the operational backbone of the organization.
Ron’s life is deeply rooted in faith and family. He was married to his beloved wife for 48 years, and together they raised four children. He is now a proud grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of two. Ron accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of 15 through an affirmation of faith in the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ. Over the years, he and his late wife faithfully served in both Methodist and Presbyterian churches, participating in ministries ranging from feeding the homeless to leading youth mission trips to Honduras.
Now retired, Ron enjoys time with his family, traveling, reading, and relaxing on his back deck. He is an active member of Adventure Church in Delaware, Ohio, and remains committed to serving his community with humility and heart. As an advisor and board member of Warriors Rally Table, Ron offers invaluable wisdom, grounded faith, and a steadfast dedication to helping veterans find healing, hope, and purpose.

Emily Clausing is a seasoned nonprofit leader who brings a proven track record of vision, service, and impact to the Board of Directors. For many years, she has been a driving force in leadership, turning compassion into action and transforming ideas into lasting change.
As the former president of a nonprofit dedicated to fighting cancer, Emily spearheaded efforts that raised and donated tens of thousands of dollars to support groundbreaking cancer research. Under her leadership, the organization not only generated vital funding but also built a community of hope and resilience for families affected by cancer.
Now, Emily is bringing that same passion and proven leadership to Warriors Rally Table with a deep commitment to serving one of our most underserved populations: veterans. Inspired by their courage and sacrifice, she is dedicated to ensuring that those who served our country receive the care, resources, and support they deserve.

Dr. Demetra Sanderfer brings a rare combination of spiritual insight and financial expertise to the Board of Directors, offering decades of ministry leadership and professional experience. She holds both a Doctorate in Theology and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting, credentials that uniquely equip her to serve at the intersection of faith and stewardship.
With more than 35 years of experience preaching and teaching the gospel, Dr. Sanderfer currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Manna Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. Her ministry is marked by a deep passion for empowering believers to grow in faith and live out biblical truth.
Professionally, Dr. Sanderfer has built a career as a seasoned financial leader. In her role as a Financial Controller, she combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of stewardship, ensuring that resources are managed with wisdom and integrity. Her passion for integrating biblical principles with practical financial guidance inspired her to author God, Money, and Me, a book that explores the balance between faith and financial responsibility.
A collaborative leader at heart, Dr. Sanderfer thrives on projects and missions that allow her to serve both God and community through her dual callings. Outside of ministry and finance, she enjoys traveling and finds peace and renewal by the ocean.

Josh Walker is a dedicated pastor and disciple-maker who brings over 26 years of ministry experience and a deep love for the church to the Board of Directors. A native of Canton, Ohio, Josh came to faith in Christ during his junior year of high school at Canton First Friends Church, a decision that shaped the course of his life and calling.
After graduating high school, Josh pursued his passion for ministry at Malone University, where he earned a B.A. in Bible and Theology in 2002. That same year, he married his wife, Betsie, and together they began a journey of faith and service. Josh’s ministry began in youth leadership from 1999 to 2003, followed by his first pastoral role at Mansfield Friends Church in 2003. His commitment to theological study led him to Ashland Theological Seminary, where he graduated with honors in 2008.
Upon completing seminary, Josh and Betsie moved to Delaware, Ohio, where Josh stepped into his current role as Lead Pastor at Valleyview Evangelical Friends Church. For more than 17 years, he has faithfully shepherded the congregation, encouraging believers to grow in their relationship with Christ and with one another.
Josh and Betsie are the proud parents of their son, Seth, a freshman at Delaware Christian School. Their family also includes Sophie, a 90-pound chocolate Labrador who is a constant source of joy. Outside of ministry, Josh enjoys reading, woodworking, playing electric guitar, and listening to vinyl records—hobbies that reflect his creativity and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

Attorney Bryan O. Steward brings over three decades of distinguished legal, corporate, and academic experience to the Board of Directors. He is an award-winning attorney whose practice areas include Business and Non-Profit Law, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, and Workers’ Compensation Defense. His vast knowledge and leadership help guide the organization’s legal integrity and mission fulfillment.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Attorney Steward has held key positions with several Fortune 500 companies and served as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. He also held elected office on the Columbus City Schools Board of Education, concluding his service as Vice President. Additionally, he has taught as an adjunct professor at various colleges and universities, continuing to shape future leaders.
Bryan is an active member of the faith and civic community. He is engaged in his local church and proudly serves as a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. His dedication to service is matched by his national recognition in the legal field. In 2025, he was named to The Best Lawyers in America® and was featured on the cover of Mahogany Magazine as one of Central Ohio’s Most Influential Lawyers. He has also been recognized by the National Black Lawyers Top 100, National Lawyers of Distinction, and Elite Lawyers.
Attorney Steward holds a Bachelor of Science from Bowling Green State University’s College of Business Administration, an MBA from Franklin University, and a Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio, the U.S. District Courts for both the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Donell Thomas brings a deep commitment to faith, service, and leadership to his role on the Board of Directors. A 23-year veteran of the United States Army, Donell retired in 2010 as a Sergeant First Class, having served with distinction and integrity. His dedication to serving others didn’t end with his military career—he has spent the past three decades with the State of Ohio, where he currently serves as a Corrections Captain at the Corrections Reception Center.
Donell is guided by a steadfast faith in Jesus Christ and considers himself a continuous work in progress as he seeks to follow the Lord’s teachings daily. His heart for veterans and his passion for ministry make him a valuable voice in the mission to bring hope, healing, and brotherhood to those who have served.
He has been married to his wife Shellie for 27 years, and together they have been blessed with three children and two grandsons. Donell’s life reflects the core values of faith, family, and service—making him a powerful advocate and example for the veterans’ community.
